My name is Monica Mochar
I am an experienced and qualified counsellor

My work experience so far has been very varied and wide ranging, working one to one with adults (since 2016) struggling with a range of issues, such as:

I am a qualified person-centred counsellor.


"Person-centred" means I put you as the client at the centre of our work together and although the counselling process can be painful and challenging, it can be transformational. I don't have a magic wand, but I have worked with clients with a vast range of different issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem and bereavement. I do this by working compassionately, providing a safe space for you, a place where you feel valued and free to explore your experience.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). As a member of the BACP, I am bound by its Code of Ethics and Practice and subject to its complaint's procedure. I am also a member of PCT Scotland (Person-Centred Therapy Scotland).
